Re: Dragon Zero or FOV ?

The FOV has an engine, but it is not very detailed and the cowling that goes over it seems a little oversize. I like the way they did the landing gear - as a single unit, so no there is no question about gear-down angle or security. The hobby shop version gives you the gear up/down option. The prop is white, probably should be silver.

The Dragon looks better and seems truer to scale. You can also open the canopy. The gap between the rear greenhouse and fuselage is so the canopy can open. If it bothers you, one option is to just display the model with canopy open.

The FOV for $20 and Dragon for $25 is a good representation of the quality difference. Both are good value for their price.

I have them both and also a couple of Whitty Zeros on the way. With HobbyMaster doing a Kate, I'm expanding the Pacific Carrier War part of my collection.
