Very impressive collection. Shame there aren't more French planes available in 1:72nd, let alone larger scale. I'm surprised you didn't keep your IXO MS-406, Bloch-152 and Dewoitine D. 520---assuming that you had them. |
I used to have them, as I used to have (but not simultaneously) about 2/3 of IXO's WWII range. But like many other collectors, I have been disapointed by this brand, in spite of the improvements I made to the models.
The MS406 was really bad, so in spite of a complete repaint, I didn't keep it very long.
With little improvement, the D520 and MB152 are very decent models, but when I learnt EM would issue a D520, I decided to part with mine.
The Bloch, like the Il-2m3, Il-2m10, Do 335, and Hs-129 followed, victims of a chronic lack of space...
