Just picked up this P-38 Lightning the other day from Ebay. I like it for its simplicity. The shark's mouths seem to be painted as are most of the other markings. The fact that the name is a decal is much more noticable in some photos than others.
The name on the plane Geanne is a decal as is one of the maintenance markings on the port fuselage. I've been refering to the plane as Geronimo for years and never did see a good up close photo anywhere. Well, that's over now as I'm posting some and the name is clearly not Geronimo.
