The plane is a Mitsubushi MU-2, probably one of the fastest private plane options short of going to a bigger jet. Surpised to see it sitting on the lawn like that - must be part of a fly-in community.
The plane is actually very cool, but has one of the highest accident rates in its class. In fact, FAA just required yearly type certification & training for this by all pilots - only prop plane to require this, regardless of total hours flown / experience. Serious sports car... |
