Roughly around 4,500 (give or take). The 1,000 number was in reference to those when I was the tour guide for 13 months at the Flying Tigers Warbird Museum in Kissimmee, Florida (suburb of Orlando) from November of 1996 to January of 1998. The other 3,500 or so were scattered over the past 30 years (yes, I'm OLD!!
); some of those were in a span of 5 years from 1976 to 1980 in the Orange County Civic Center. There were many gatherings of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and vets from other countries were invited on many occasions and they had interpreters (what can I say; I was a weird kid!!
