| Re: Buffalo HA7003 over-all gray Yeah, I didn't like Buffalos at all until I got these models. I think differently now. You get an appreciation for the technology of the day, as well as the USN colors in use. To be fair, many nations had awkward looking a/c in the mid 1930's, and HM is cracking into this market. These are not your refined Stangs, Spits or Butcherbirds; and I for one hope that more of these prewar designs come out. They are a great education and make for a unique and interesting display. I've got the F2A in my office right now and it's looking pretty cool.
Take a look at Cruve's sig and you can see the planes I mean. You can never learn enough about unfamiliar aircraft. |
