Are they actually OUTBOARD pylons with bombs, or just another copy of the middle pylons with bombs? A-7 middle and outboard pylons are very similar, but not identical. Can't be sure from the pics, though I'd guess it's just another set of middle pylons.
As for loads---I found a pic of an A-7 in Vietnam about to be catapulted off with 4 bombs on MER's on each of the outer 4 pylons, so it's certainly possible. |
