Re: How critical should our model criticisms be?

This all brings up interesting points. Just recently, Corgi was going to move into production with 'Friday the 13th'. Without an enormous amount of lobbying on both sides of the Atlantic, plus 'commonly available' photo reference supplied, these guys were STILL going to go ahead and produce another inaccurate piece -- at least according to their prototype they showed. Geez -- they have all the museums at their doorstep! I still have my email from CFBC @ DAF saying he was going to get the photos I had over to Corgi PRONTO. Does this sound like an outfit who is striving to improve standards without a sound beating first? (*shaking head*) It felt almost as if they were going to dispute photo evidence of their errors.

It is really just the idiotic mistakes that could have been easily avoided by a quick field trip to confirm reference. That is what really frosts me big time -- complacency.

I hope Corgi gets their act together or they are going to lose a lot of market share for sure.

The last thing I remember reading on the DAF about Friday was that Corgi verified they were producing the WWII version.. The prototype was wrong from day one and no one is going off that pic anymore unless some new ones have shown up..
