RPG hits could do some serious damage to the paint job. 
Humor aside, I really wouldn't know either as to why slat armor would be installed on them. It would make more sense to install reactive armor similar to the Abrams TUSK to counter RPGs. |

Canadians were out on the leading edge when it came to upgrading tanks to be protected in urban combat zones!
