Longview, Texas | | | | Re: Sci-Fi diecast? Anyone? | Corgi and Dragon and Witty, etc., aren't the only manufacturers bouncing over speed bumps. Hasbro, the guys who make those incredibly neat Star Wars Titanium models (available through WallyWorld and Target and Toys R Us), have delayed their latest "wings" (assortments) for months. I have no idea why; I do know, however, that Titanium model prices are rising. And Hasbro is incorporating plastic more and more.
So I'm thinkin' concerns about labor, production and metal scarcity (to name a few) are adversely affecting Chinese companies across the board.
Anyway, I'm doing another WallyWorld run today, hoping to snatch oodles of new Star Wars models. On-line vendors claim they've arrived. Wish me luck! | I think Takara also did some Sci-Fi diecast pieces. |
