Love the idea—actually, I’m thrilled with the idea, Pappy—that they put windows on the their boxes front and back. Since I rarely remove my models from their boxes, this is one HUGE advantage. But the flimsy, papery quality of these cardboard monstrosities leave me cold: they buckle and convolute and look a sorry mess---even when I protect them from extremes in temperature and humidity. Even Gaincorp settled on a stronger cardboard.
Witty makes a fantastic F-18, but they could use a lotta help in the box department.
By the way, ain’t that VFA-14 Superbug beeeeyouteeful! Ah, man...I can’t get enough. If I didn’t already own the thing, I’d order it right now. It’s that good.  |
You must really not like HM boxes then...
they are probably the worst. I'd pay a couple extra dollars for some better stock cardboard, myself.
