New 1/72 Firefly - new 1/35 Panther

DRR 60367 Firefly Ic 2nd Squadron, 1st Krechowiecki Lancers, 2nd Armoured Brigade, 2nd 'Warsaw' Armoured Div., Italy 1945

Quote: "Dragon Armor is proud to announce its first ever Firefly Ic. Based on the Sherman I (M4), it has a cast one-piece differential housing and a characteristic turret stowage box – this housed the radio equipment that was displaced by fitting the larger gun. The turret and lower hull are brand new castings that capture the characteristic look of this Sherman variant. Painted in a standard green camouflage scheme, the tank is finished in the markings of a Polish Firefly from the 2nd Squadron, 1st Krechowiecki Lancers, 2nd Armoured Brigade, of the 2nd “Warsaw” Armored Division. This particular tank christened “Rycerz I” served in Italy in 1945."

1/35 Panther G Late Production 1.Pz.Rgt.26 "Großdeutschland" France 1944

Quote: "The model represents a Panther Ausf.G of 1./Panzer Regiment 26, of the Großdeutschland (which translates as “Greater Germany”) Division. This division was an elite army formation and was equipped with the best German equipment available. While the division fought exclusively on the Eastern Front in the latter years of WWII, various units came and went. In June 1944 at the time of the Allied landings in Normandy, 1./Pz.Rgt .26 was based in France in order to train on Panthers. The unit’s Panthers were quickly thrown into the attack to stem the build up of Allied forces, and this is the time period depicted by this model."

June 1944 and no Zimmerit?
