Planet Melmac, USA | | | | Re: Do Any Of You Feel Like I do? | Thanks to our esteemed fellow forum member "Biggie" I had the Witty F-18E/F Hornet waiting on my doorstep when I got home tonight. I was very surprised at how much metal the model contained and it's heft. I love all the moving rudders and stabilizers. The wheels roll and the canopy opens and the model has very very few discernable warts. The fit and finish and markings are right on.
I am only intersted in hearing from the owners of a Witty F-18 Hornet model please. Do any of you like your model and would not think twice if given a choice to buy again?
I am ecstatic to put it on my shelf next to my Witty F-16 and F-15.
I now have at least one example of each of these
F-14,F-15,F-16,F-18,SU-27,SU-34,F-117,Mig 21,F-104,F-86,Tornado,Goshawk,A-10,A-4,A6 and an A-7.
Witty while not being perfect rates right up there with my top 3 next to CW and HM for moderns.
So again, do you feel like I do and do you have any pics to illustrate your appreciation? | Louie, I went bonkers over my first Witty Super Hornet a year ago. Its realism and exquisiteness caught me so flatfooted, I purchased a boatload more. Now I own a squadron of ‘em and couldn’t be happier.
The boxes they come in, on the other hand, are an entirely different matter. |

| It isn't faith that makes good science, Mr. Klaatu, it's curiosity. Sit down, please. There are several thousand questions I'd like to ask you. |
