Re: Zilin 42m

I was looking at some Hobbyboss 1/72 prop aircraft and saw a Zilin 42m. What kind of plane was it?

PS Hobbyboss is a new comer. I think they make Easy model. These you have to snap together and apply the decals

I wonder if it is supposed to be Zlin 42m? Zlin is a family of aircraft manufactured by Moravan Aircraft in the Czech Republic. Their Zlin Z-726 "Universal" is a real sweet looking aircraft and have seen one of these at an airshow before. I have found some photos of a Zlin Z-42M that looks like the kit on the Hobbyboss site. Looks comparable to a Piper PA-38 or PA-24.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
