Sidetrack a little... i collect 1:72 armor too - Dragon makes very good german half-tracks in the Dragon Armor series of finished kits. The hornisse is one of their best IMO...
but with prices climbing to 40SGD (about 28USD) i have to be very selective which piece to get... in 2004 the price is about 13USD for a M1 abrams and that's diecast hull and turret - a lot of heft... but now they are almost all plastic...
the half-tracks weigh almost nothing...
