| Ok it seems with every release or expected release, it gets torn apart from the get go. So I want to know what diecast plane is perfect. I want pictures and an explaination as to why its the bees knees. I'm just not convinced there is a "perfect" diecast model out there. Way too much huff and puff for toys gentlemen. |
| I don't have the perfect diecast as of yet....But some are pretty darn close to it.
My Century Wings F-14 is close to being perfect for a modern fighter and Carousel1 for past warbirds.

I'm just not educated enough about the rivets to really know if most models are "perfect" or not. Given that disclaimer, I'd say my Corgi FAA Swordfish may be the closest thing to a perfect model I own. Not a single manufacturing blemish that I can see, of course, now I'll probably find out that the framus is where the fritzis should be. Generally I'm looking for representations not museum replicas, so I'm able to put up with far more gaffs than your average collector, I suspect. So I will abstain from posting pics and a defense for it's "pefectness". |
I agree fully with all the sentiments expressed in the above quotes

. That said, I truly believe that my
GMP aircraft,
Minichamps armour and
Carousel 1 aircraft are the closest thing to 'perfection' that one can get

. (Let's not forget the Corgi
Swordfish,
Black Cat PBY Catalina and CW
F14
.)
