I have a few 1:18 scale cars made by Exoto and Matchbox (60's era Daytona Cobra, Ferrari 250 LM and 250 GTO and a Porsche 904 race cars) and the quality (especially the Exoto) is pretty good. The big issue with the cars (as shown by your photos) is the seam areas around the doors and engine compartments. They make the panel lines on the IXO and Hobby Master look great. Usually, you have to spend big bucks to get the properly scaled seams. Exoto cars generally start at about $250.00. |
