Re: 1/72 figures

I think part of the problem with getting figures made is the difficulty in finding literature with good colored pictures. If you are going to make a good figure you need good reference material.

Hey Hawk,

I agree with needing good literature (research), but disagree with the difficuly of finding it. We are talking about basic military history here, military books make up a huge market and are extremely easy to get ahold of through the Internet any where in the world.

There are loads of books out there with accurate uniforms in color print, and I mean loads. I can send good recommendations if need be as I've built up quite a library of books on uniforms and some are better than others, but honestly a simple Google search would pull up alot here too.

I just bought a book on uniforms from Barnes & Nobles a few weeks back for just $10 and it has over 300+ color pictures of military uniforms from around the world for the 20th century. Plus who doesn't know about Osprey books and their color pictures of uniforms (though I wouldn't base my research on these alone).

I just typed in "wwii uniform book" on Google and got back 978,000 results. If a company says they're having a hard time finding resources on uniforms, introduce them to Google, LOL.
