Yes this lack of gear doors is annoying though for the price I am ok with this IXO model, and I actually like it!
The "cheap" effort IXO puts into the add on plastic parts in most of their models is an ongoing disappointment.
The Wildcat is the worst example of this though. Looks good in the box... Just don’t turn it over.
I have had to replace a number of the propellers in IXO kits as they simply did not fit or scale correctly w/ the whole model. This is why I am very selective w/ their products and simply will not buy them via mail order. I want to see an example first, and the price is right. In the words of the esteemed southern American philosopher Mr. Gomer Pyle... "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me".
