The Historic Aviation Memorial Museum (HAMM) is located at Pounds Field in Tyler, Texas. They are a small nonprofit museum and up until last year worked out of a hangar on the back side of the airfield. Currently they are now in former airline terminal with all sorts of room now. They have multimedia theatre for presentations, library and an expanded gift shop (And what a day I had there!). There old hangar is now purely for restoration work. The museums list of aircraft include a F-104A, F-105D, F-111, F4D, FJ-4 Fury, L29, Mig 17F, PBY-5A (Still in restoration), T-2C, T-33, T-37 and a TA-4J Skyhawk (That restoration was just completed on). The interior of the musuem has rooms full of display cabinets and planes hanging from the ceiling throughout (Quite a bit of diecast on display too). The folks that run the place are real friendly and even let my son and I tour the museum last year prior to its initial opening. Try to get some decent interior shot next time we go over (After the gift shop experience, kind of forgot to snap more inside photos.).
