Re: Sci-Fi diecast? Anyone?

You mean the Titanium Series, like this one?

Be careful, DADoser: These little goodies are just as (perhaps even more) addictive than Corgi, Dragon, Hobby Master, etc., models. It’s when you chase hard-to-gets on e-Bay that costs begin to spiral. (Whew ... some of ‘em are getting downright expensive!)

I started out small and wound up purchasing every single Titanium piece made (including the “Raw Metal” models). OUCH!!!

EXACTLY - those are the ones - and yes, extremely addictive! We just got into them fairly recently. That EXACT - Naboo Starfighter is my son's favorite. He doesn't have it - desperately wants it. My guess is we got in to late to get that one at a "reasonable" price. (Myself - I need to get an X wing - guess it may be a generational thing )

I think the price/availability is what makes them so addictive - Who misses $5 - $10 when you are in Target/Wal-Mart picking up a boat load of other "necessities?" Too easy to justify/hide the cost in one's overall budget! These could be the "Dark Side."
