Re: 1:100 Armour WWII planes

Hello,
it is me again.
I also found some details in my little book shelf concerning the Yellow 1.Here we go:

Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4 flown by Obtl.Gerhard Schöpfel of III./JG 26 circa 18.August.Finished in a high demarcation 02/71 finish, the top segment of the rudder and tips of the wings and tailplane are painted yellow.A yellow pennant is attached to the antenna mast and beneath the cockpit is the red Höllenhund ( hellhound ) emblem of 9./JG 26 and ahead of it, the JG 26 Schlageter shield. It was while flying this aircraft during the early afternoon of 18 August that Schöpfel shot down four Hurricanes of 501 Sqn. near Canterbury.

Just to add some historic background to these models.

Looks like both of these models were right on.
