Looking forward to more of your pictures from the airshow, Pappy! Thanks so much. Well, I hit the show yesterday -- despite the weather prognosticators saying there was a 70% chance of rain... and man, what a beautiful day! Cool temps, light breeze, lots of big cumulous clouds that made for some truly dramatic viewing -- if terribly challenging photography conditions. But the rain held off and it was all in all a perfect day to take in an air show.
The show was a bit short compared with last year but there were a few things I've never seen before -- the Blues for one, I don't think I have ever seen 'em. Least not for 20-some years, so that was a thrill (that said, I think the T-birds put on a better "show").
Seeing the C-130 "Fat Albert" do its thing was also very cool -- and the Harrier was an ear-splitting experience I shall never forget. (First time at an air show that I wished I had ear plugs... wow!).
