We were just told that the wings on all the upcoming IXO 1:144th scale planes will be plastic, the reason we have been given is so that IXO can meet the same price point as the other IXO planes. This is not a stretch as we have all seen the cost of diecast rise steadily over the last few years. This is not strictly correct. Most will be but the Liore et Olivier LeO 451 has metal wings and horizontal tailplanes so I can only guess that some of the others will be the same.
