| Are you talking about the one with the black 3 on the tail? The pictures I could find only show 3 guns on each wing. If that is what you are talking about, it is a cannon mounted version. However, I have never seen a picture of a cannon armed Hellcat that was not fitted with the radar pod. Some of the F6F-5N night fighter variant were fitted with flash suppressors on the cannon muzzles but the cannon did protrude quite a bit, almost to mid cowl. |

IXO models this catastrophe as an F6F-5N. Sadly, they neglected to add the radar pod on the wing. Skip buying this model unless you've got a few bucks to squander away or you've been drinking so heavily that you can't see much of anything.
