That's funny but not very uncommon. A few years ago when you get an item with a "packaging error" when the content inside is different from what is advertised on the boxart and such, you actually have what diehard collectors termed as a 'variant error item' which might be worth big bucks to someone who actually collects this stuff. I'm speaking of the action figure craze of the 90's when rabid fans collectors would seek out these errors in packaging and sell them off at eBay hoping some poor sucker would bite, and more often than not someone actually did! |
