| Re: How are the FOV stukas? I've got several Corgis and FOV Stukas. Both companies make nice birds, however, the FOV Stuka is $12.00 (Plus state tax) at Target. You can't beat the price.
The only real negative with the bird is that the box is a one and done thing. Once it is out of the box, you cannot re-store it. A big issue if you have limited space and need to swap out your birds.
The detailing won't be as crisp as the Corgis, so make sure to look through each box at your bird before you buy. I've never had a big problem, but I'm not a rivet counter in any way. For $12.00, I can over look a few minor glue marks. (Or whatever. Honestly, I've got the Snake version within an arms lenght and outside of the lack of swazi on the tail, can't tell the difference. I'm sure I could if I [i]really[i] wanted to look, but nothing is obvious from 5 feet away.
Oh, almost forgot, FOV stands are great. I mount my Stukas "backwards" on the stand which gives them a very nice "just pushed over/just started to pull out" feel to them. Very sturdy, very steady, very cool. |
