As can be seen from these pictures, the most obvious flaw in Altaya's Betty is the lack of continuity on the first segment of green camouflage. It doesn't go all the way down to meet the undersurface gray on either side of the model. This, of course, is easily corrected ,as are minor omissions such as missing side windows, unpainted air duct openings, etc. Still, I am very impressed with the level of detail on these models and can readily forgive most of their missteps. I am eagerly awaiting the Cant Z 1007 and JU-290, which are on their way to my retouching station. |
Looks like there is a bit of dihedral in the horizontal stabilizers too,
