Don't worry about additional F-14 or A-6 releases. Century Wings will milk their tooling for as much as they can get out of it. Keep in mind, however, that these diecast companies do not have infinite financial resources. In order to avoid over saturating the market and maintain collector demand, and in order to have the money to develop new toolings for the A-7 and F-8, CW has temporarily tabled repaints of their older toolings. Also keep in mind that the economic meltdown here in the US is driving down demand for diecast collectibles overall. I guarantee we have not seen the last CW F-14D or A-6. |
