That's why I don't believe any talk about our government promoting alternative fuels or other energy sources- it'd lose too much money if we got away from gasoline. Kinda like the tobacco argument- you always hear the government warnings about the dangers of tobacco, and laws being passed to make it more difficult and expensive to buy, use and enjoy. But, you never hear the government planning to outlaw it completely because of the tax revenues that would be lost. |
