| There are two variants of Nimrod operational,the MR.2P the maritime recce variant and the R.1 the "sneaky" one .Most MR.2Ps are painted hemp and the R.1s are camo grey with light aircraft grey panel on the top of the fuselage,to complicate things the MR.2Ps as they come out of servicing are being painted grey so from a distance the best way to tell is if there is a "stinger" on the tail it's a MR.2p,if it hasn't it's an R1.I'm finishing the model as an MR.2P |
