Tomcats OFTEN had it on the port side only--since that's the only side where there's steps to get in the plane! I think most of Century's VF-84 planes are like that. If any have it on both, it's probably just that particular modex. Pics of AJ210 (the real one) seem to indicate it should be port-side only, though it's very hard to tell--I'm mainly going by the fact that there seems to be reflections/shine in that area---non-skid is completely matte.
PS--Super Hornets were like that up until recently---they all had it port-side only. But they JUST started adding non-skid to the starboard side as well. Legacy Hornets usually have it on both sides. |
