B11E749 P-47 Razorback Richard Kik "Fearless Dick"

Trains and planes (UK site) has decent pictures posted of the new FM/A Razorback T-Bolt. I am trying to contain my anticipation and excitement by what I see...

The mold has nice rivet detail crafted into the wing root and the cowling area
The canopy appears to be positionable
I see no gaping or glaring seam lines... from the angles of the posted pictures, the model appears to have excellent fit.

The serial indicates the model is a:

P-47D-22-RE

I hope FM keeps to historical authenticity on this one. Will have to do some more checking to make sure.

At least one concern I see:

The wings appear to have no riveting detail and the panel lines look a tad washed out... I am betting FM did a new fuselage mold and then grafted the old wing mold to it. But... the pictures of the wings are too small and/or too distant to make out clearly.

And... fingers crossed that FM has engineered/designed this one with clean undersides (one thing will be relatively certain, however: if the wings are from the old mold, you can bet there will be non-recessed screwheads in the gear wells.)
