Re: aikens "retired" FM listings

Retired means the schemes not the molds -- most of the bargains are the stuff that ain't selling,

. The SBDs generally go anywhere from $45-90

(FM stuff is priced all over the map it seems... but hunting definitely pays off)

. There have been a few SBDs in the bargain bins lately,

.......... amazingly one of the best IMHO -- the Ace of Spades.

I think $30-45 for any particulary FM model -- if you like it -- is a good deal.

Pappy, Glad you're putting us (over here) in the picture.....& I'll bet Armour-Addict in Germany will be pleased (?)

I know that although I've spent a helluva-lot, recently, it's been worth it !!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that "Ace Of Spades" version you speak of, is B.932 with the 'Bomb-tally' on the cockpit-port-side ????????

That's the one I've got next to me now, in a Triple-Tone (Dk Blue/Intermediate Blue/Insignia White) colour scheme, with the "Wavy"-Demarcation-Line between the Dk & Intermediate Blue(s) ???????
If so, I gave just £14.95 for that ($30 USD), so it sounds like a Major-Bargain..........

Same goes for the "Operation-Torch" SBD , B.632, in the much lighter single Blue/Grey (Also just £14.95) !!!!!!!!!!

I virtually cleared the shop outta F.6-F Hellcats, for the same money.......in about 4 - 5 versions = RESULT !!!!!!!!

The B.25's are a bargain, though I concentrated on the USN stuff 1st

Be nice if more folks on this forum posted some pix of their (better) CDC-Armour/F.M aircraft.....

.......... just like Ara did with his 1/48th Liberator !!!!!
