Sorry for the poor quality of pics. I had to keep turning my camera on and off to get it to work. Either the batteries were low, or the thing is just getting worn out (it did OIF in my pants pocket).
Compared to when I was here in 2004, the WWI display is now completed and the Panther tank is now fully assembled. Before, it was in the back yard of the museum w/o any tracks. And the M1A1 inside is new. I ran out of time to get pics of the outside static display tanks. I'll try to get those before I leave.
And the gift shop sells 1/32, 1/48 21st Century armor and aircraft as well as 1/32, 1/72 FOV armor and aircraft (at outrageous prices, nonetheless!). And some Corgi showcase in the 1/120 scale. So I went to the shopette and bought 3 CanDo 1/72 HMMWVs to appease my diecast appetite.
And that's me standing next to the King Tiger. I'm only 5'8" or so.
