Aeroplane is an amazing magazine. Great Pics, Great Info, Real quality . Good heft to it.  
Wish it was less money to subscribe.

You are right on them being a bit pricey, but well worth it for the pictures and articles. I used to pick up a couple of publications put out in the United States, but found these two magazines covered more of the less well known aircraft. Next months Aeroplane has an article on the Fairey Fulmar, not going to find articles like that in the magazines produced over here. These magazines also provide a good look at some of the restoration work being done on both military and civilian type aircraft. There is also usually some advertisement regarding diecast in these magazines too.
