Pappy, I have this same one and I love it...Yes, it's accurately modelled after an actual flying P-51 belonging to the Planes of Fame Museum in Chino,CA..The "BP" on the civ reg# are the initials of its owner, Bob Pond.. I hope this makes you feel better about it now and will lovingly accept it back into your stable..  |
Yes its a model of an actual flyer form P.O.F.M., but not of a combat A/C. I dont want inaccurate paint schemes based on bad research.
I do like the model, but can't look at it the same way.
