Re: Question about Dragon and His Tail Lib...

Anyone with good research or photos/profiles of the "real deal". Just got this "Bombzilla" from FM and I do like it... mostly for the sheer "wow" factor. But it's actually made quite well with no obvious Q/A issues and none of the ugly gaps that plague the Corgi version. .

Well said, Papp'

It's about time those many folks who bought (or would consider buying) Corgi's 1/72 'NOSE-TURRETED' B.24 realise that the F.M. version is the (MUCH) better offering, in that respect.

The nose joint on Corgi's 'nose-turreted' B.24 ('H' or 'J' variant) is hideous, with the fuselage-join nothing to "shout-about" either........

AFAIK, I'm 99% certain that I read somewhere that "The Dragon &..." DID actually end up, in a scrapyard along with numerous others, & that the 'bone-yard' crews had a 'soft-spot' for 'that' particular B.24, purely beacuse of the artwork, so therefore didn't exactly 'Rush' to scrap it (though, apparently, it was, eventually)

I see your 'Logic' in the "only one side" artwork issue - I'd imagine that's right ?
