. Reason: correcting grammatical errors
Well, I'm happy and angry at the same time, if that's possible!!
First, happy because Armour has released the British FGR.2 "Alcock & Brown" 1919 Atlantic Crossing Commemorative Phantom.
Angry because they used the GE J-79 turbojet exhaust nozzles as opposed to the correct RR Spey turbofan nozzles - BIG difference!! The real British FGR.2 (RAF) Phantom utilized the same engines as the FG-1 for the Royal Navy. Such a simple & CHEAP, and yet such a noticable thing! Ironically enough, it's also the one thing they actually managed to "get right" on the out-of-production 2002 RN 892 Sqn. (B11B459) FG.1 Phantom (see attached pix)... - You'd think these idiots would learn after awhile...!!
-
I'm also tickled to see another Zero floatplane (B11E780) in IJN Navy colors.
Finally, the (B11E754) California Boomerang F-86 is introduced - that looks like a nice one!!
PS: You'll also notice that their new "Old Crow" P-51 ("B" - ? HA! What a friggin' joke this one is...!!) Mustang utilizes a bubble canopy and a "D" model upper fuselage deck as opposed to the correct "razorback" form... -
