I'm grateful that Clint Eastwood made the movie "Flags of our Fathers" as this was a story I never knew about until seeing the film.
I'm sure he and his family were pleased to have seen the movie made & the true story of the first flag raising on Iwo Jima as millions worldwide now know what was achieved by these brave Marines in that terrible campaign. |
