Since my father started making me kits and hanging them from the ceiling whey I was around 3 years old, well the bug caught on early for me. Made my first kit when I was 5 years old. One of the kits my father made for me was one of the old Speedy Built F-86s, and it hung from my bedroom ceiling for many years. Tried to pick one of those old kits up off of eBay a couple years back and,,, they are real expensive now. One of those old kits can go up over hundred bucks now. As a kid my room was alway full of airplane, tank and ship models. Lots of fun times, funny thing is,,, things haven't changed that much.. |
