I have seen a few references to the Pe-2 carring torpedoes, but nothing firm in regards to actual depiction, picture or weapon loadout reference. So initially would have to go with the PE-2 not see combat or operational use as a torpedo bomber. | That's how I read it. The PE-2 is the only one on that list for which I couldn't find any claims of torpedo use. Of course, the PBY attack on elements of the Japanese fleet during The Battle Of Midway was an act of desperation and was certainly atypical. |
