| I have been having a rummage through my stuff and all I could find was a reference to a 4 blader trail done to test performance at higher altitudes, idea was to try to give a bit more bite at the thinner air at 30,000 feet when up against the then new FW190s.
This in turn led onto the MKV11.
Strange because I have a shedfull of books on the Spit but so far thats all I can come up with. |
It's a new one on me too. Not sure why BBMF run theres with a four blade prop, I guess the Merlin is different? PJ?
