Re: After some local information

Hello fellas,

After seeing so many of you across the pond last week, I thought I'd make the trip the other way! I'm actually after a bit of information if anyone can help? I'm going to be in Kansas in a few weeks time on an exercise and will be stationed in Fort Leavenworth. Are there any good diecast retailers or aircraft museums of note in the area? I have a long weekend in the middle of the exercise, so will have a little bit of time to do some sightseeing and stock up on diecast!

Cheers

The National World War I museum is located in Kansas City, which is not far from Ft. Leavenworth. I went to Leavenworth in 2005 for one day trip to the CALL. It's a nice post and very historic. But, don't try to go to the prison. I didn't.
