There is certainly something to be said to having a less critical eye when it comes to diecast. I am personally not a rivet counter. When I acquire an airplane, say a P 51, to me, it looks like a P 51......even Corgi's 1:72 scale.....sorry Skunky!
That said, I do, however, pay attention to the discussions here on how accurate various models are, and they do have an effect on my buying. Just don't get really caught up in it. If something looks good to ME is what is important. |
