Watched it last nite on the PVR. Cold Lake is our equivalent to Nellis. Northern Alberta just west of the Saskatchewan border, cold, clear skies and pretty much nothing to disturb in the neighbouhood. The live firing exercises are due east of the base at Primrose Range. The base is also home to AETE , the Aeronautical Engineering Test Establishment which would be similar to Edwards but on a typically Canadian (read smaller scale). Excellent program and look forward to the rest of the series. Its great to see some local boys and girl make good programming for a change. |
