The weathering does look good however, I'd like to try it but I'm better with armor than a/c. When toning down, were you wanting to hide the black or hide the obvious panel lines? | As I mentioned in a previous post, the picture isn't terribly good, however my goal wasn't to completely eradicate the panel lines. Rather, I intended to make them about 50% less prominent and get rid of the black. The model, as it now looks, has the panel lines considerably less visible and, more important, their color is a somewhat darker tan --- or gray for the bottom---than HM used in its original paint job, which makes them look more realistic. It's hard to see in the picture, but I also added staining in many places which is even more difficult to capture using my camera and limited photographic skills. |
