I believe when CW shows a wing sold out, that it has sold out the run to its distributors. Not that you are not able to find them anywhere, so much as a measure of just how popular the distributors expect it to sell. They are all basically alotted out through the distribution of retailers.
If it does go out very fast, it may be an indicator of what the expected popularity of the model will be, but that is always not an absolute. I would wager more as posted above that the smaller runs generally are an automatice quicker sell just because of the size of the run along with the chance it may be a popular piece. |
