The Centurian looks the business! I had my dad's old Dinky Centurian when I was a kid, played with it for hours I think they did a Chieftain too but I never had that one.



If you check out ebay, planecrazy, you can find great Chieftains at about £15-£20 in great condition. I got one about a year ago ( it cost £12.00 ) and it is a brilliant little model ( about 1.43 scale ) and it has a spring-loaded gun which originally fired plastic shells, but you can use wooden matchsticks today ! You can elevate and depress the gun by turning the hatch cover. The tracks are just silver plastic, but they work well. I love it. It's a great toy which could not be sold to kids today because of Health and Safety issues !!!!

Dinky made hundreds of thousands of them, so they are quite common. This is the one which hammered the nails into the coffin of the old Dinky Centurion!!!
