Is this the one in Windsor Locks? If it is I've been there a few times and agree, it's a great place. In the warm months they have "open-cockpit" weekends where you can climb into the planes' cockpits. That's pretty cool. The A-10s are from the CT National Guard unit. We'll be losing those soon and will be getting some new cargo/light transport planes. Really s_ _ ks, but that's the way it goes. Hard to believe this museum was almost destroyed in the October 3rd, 1979 tornado. |
